Give What You Can Food Drive
We're so excited to be participating in the Give What You Can Food Drive, along with a handful of other indie, local businesses: House to Home, Fancy & Staple, The Bob Salon, Katali Boutique & Chic The Boutique. Nancy from The Tiny Shed brought the issue to our collective attention and wanted to do something to help out our community, and we couldn't be more on board!
Last week we became aware of a severe hunger crisis in our own backyard. According to Wane.com “The COVID-19 pandemic is causing the worst food crisis in modern times. Some health experts are saying Indiana hasn’t seen starvation conditions like this since The Great Depression.” We would like to rally together, with our customers, followers and fellow small-businesses to take care of our city and our community! Starting Tuesday, Dec. 8 - Tuesday, Dec. 22 we will be partnering with the Community Harvest Food Bank to host a food drive. There are 6 different donation drop-off locations throughout Fort Wayne that are participating with us. The food bank also welcomes monetary donations as they can get food at a cheaper wholesale price! Any help you can provide is GREATLY appreciated!
