Season of Giving
Share
In this season of giving, we like to remind ourselves about giving gifts beyond our loved ones. We're proud supporters of NeighborLink, a fantastic local organization that connects people in need with neighbors who can help by giving time, talent and/or treasure. They believe "small things change neighborhoods" and we couldn't agree more!
The organization spreads their messages of neighborly love in a variety of ways, including a very active running and cycling team, participating in area events and hosting their own, as well as selling branded merch - which is where we come in.
NeighborLink currently has 262 open projects, and they're always adding more, so we asked them to bring their stylish goods for a pop up shop in #DTFW on Saturday, December 15th! They'll be bringing their cool t shirts, vibrant sock collection (including youth sizes), new lightweight sweatshirts, water bottles, hats, notebooks and more. We'll also be donating 10% of The FIND's sales that day to help them reach their 2018 goals.
The money raised from the sale of these goods will go to help fund current projects, which include a multitude of furnace projects, as well as helping an elderly homeowner dealing with code enforcement violations including siding, soffit, facia, foundation walls, gutters and downspouts. The homeowner has lived in her house for a long time, and has dealt with some issues that have put her behind on home maintenance, while aging in place and trying to remain independent.
Beyond purchasing their merch, there are many other ways to help. Check out their website for open projects then connect with NeighborLink to see how you can get involved.
