We're so excited to be participating in the Give What You Can Food Drive, along with a handful of other indie, local businesses: House to Home, Fancy & Staple, The Bob Salon, Katali Boutique & Chic The Boutique. Nancy from The Tiny Shed brought the issue to our collective attention and wanted to do something to help out our community, and we couldn't be more on board! We have a heart for giving and for some very special local non profit organizations. This Giving Tuesday, we wanted to shine a light on a handful of these organizations -- friends that help encourage Fort Wayne to be a caring and vibrant community, a city full of people with generous hearts and spirits. 

In the city of Fort Wayne, outdated parking meters have been transformed into interactive collection points for charitable causes, with all money directed to local non profit organizations designated by each meter's sponsor. You might see these "Meters with a Mission" around downtown, including in front of The FIND. We jumped at the chance to participate in this new program, jointly hosted by the City of Fort Wayne and Greater Fort Wayne, Inc, and we tapped our pal, artist Lyndy Bazile, to transform our designated meter into a gorgeous work of art.
